As we begin a new year, we’ll be up to our usual antics... mixing it up with a little bit of news, some attitude and a few laughs, plus offer up opinions on some of the matters of the day. In addition, we will keep you up to date with the latest headlines and highlights of the New York City high school sports scene on the Award Winning "On the Sidelines" with Vinny Aceto, Friday, January 8, 2010 at 1:00 PM.

As roundball season goes into full gear, we'll follow the non-stopping bouncing ball as we turn our attention to the hardwood when John Sce (New Utrecht) and Doug Porter (South Bronx) visit with us to banter Boys’ ‘A’ basketball in the PSAL. The ‘A’ division sometimes gets lost in the limelight of the more publicized “AA” Division; we’ll try to change that.

In addition, well go one on one with Elio Velez (NY Daily News and The Wave) as he dribbles by to converse about a wide variety of topics ranging from a recap of the best of the fall season to the current basketball season.

If you’re looking to score straight A’s in high school sports, make sure you get to school on time. Class is in session every Friday, at 1:00 PM on Radio New York 91.5 FM your ticket to High School Sports throughout the entire year in New York City.
