New York radio's only comprehensive program covering the High School sports scene has penetrated the WNYE Radio Saturday morning schedule. In response to many listener requests we will re-air our regularly scheduled Friday afternoon program every Saturday morning at 9:00 AM.

The series features interviews with student-athletes, coaches, league administrators, authors, newspaper and broadcast reporters, with special guests as well as commentary and analysis by host Vinny Aceto.
They’re down to the final four in PSAL ‘A’ Baseball. We’ll preview the semi-finals (best of 3 series) and review the last two rounds with Alex Torres (JFK) who visits us to make his weekly appearance as they continue their path to the title tilt, while Vinny Caiazza (James Madison HS) makes a cameo appearance to break down his series with James Monroe HS. We’ll also go around the horn as we recount all the PSAL baseball playoff May-hem when you tune into a Final Four Weekend Edition of the Award Winning "On the Sidelines" with Vinny Aceto, Friday, May 29, 2009 at 1:00 PM with an encore presentation Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 9:00 AM.
In addition, we’ll resume our May spring football festival as we chat about moving up to the Championship Division with Flushing HS head coach Jim DeSantis. Then on Sunday, May 31st at Hofstra University’s James M. Shuart Stadium, the 37th Annual Fun City Bowl will take place featuring New York’s Finest v New York’s Bravest. We’ll confer with our favorite football analyst Pete Moog about this intense rivalry. Moog will lend his unique perspective on this yearly get together. Moog is a former all-city lineman at Tottenville and has participated in this game as a player, head coach and organizer.
